| Sometimes schoolteachers need to be as wise as Solomon in dealing with their pupils. Three boys came to high school very late one morning. Although they had played hooky to go fishing, they agreed among themselves that their excuse would be "a flat tire." When the boys entered class, the teacher gave each of them a piece of paper and asked them to write an answer to one question: "WHICH TIRE?" Two conflicting answers and one blank piece of paper proved to the teacher that their story had been a hoax. Copied |
